BIOGRAPHY
M. Lake Berry assists clients from simple to complex matters in litigation regarding consumer rights, probate, and guardianship matters. Lake’s clients range from business owners to dedicated homemakers. Every client is important at the Berry Law Firm.
Lake attended and graduated Texas Christian University with Cum Laude honors and with multiple other honors in 2003. While at TCU, Lake played for the TCU Men’s Lacrosse team, competed in amateur boxing, and was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon and Brothers Under Christ (BYX).
After his TCU graduation, Lake worked as a financial advisor and broker for AXA, the world’s second largest financial services company. After AXA, Lake attended Texas A & M University School of Law. Lake began his legal career at a boutique litigation firm in Dallas, Tx. He eventually left the firm to start his own practice that focused on providing a more tailored service to clients. In addition to being a practicing attorney, his passion for the law has led him to occasionally teach and he is former law school instructor.
In 2017, Lake completed his LL.M. in Trial Advocacy from Temple University Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia, PA. Temple Trial Advocacy LL.M. is perennially the top USNWR Trial Program in the country.
In addition to AXA, Lake has also worked for Movement Mortgage and Fifth Third Bank. This real world experience has given him valuable knowledge and training with multiple financial assets. More importantly, experience with financial assets that are often involved in consumer and asset protection.
